Spending a longer period in England gives you the chance to develop
your English and learn about British life. Our attractively priced
Academic Year Courses are ideal for those who wish to spend an
entire academic year in England. You can choose to join the programme
in January, April, July or October. Throughout your stay our highly experienced, qualified teachers ensure that you make the maximum progress in speaking, listening, reading and writing in the classroom. In addition, our friendly host families and excellent social programme - we have our own pub where you can meet English people - give you every opportunity to speak English outside the classroom. During your stay you will have regular opportunities to discuss your programme and study goals with our academic staff. We help you draw up your own study programme, test your language every month and provide a written progress report detailing your ability and development in each language skill. One of the advantages of a Churchill House course is that you can study in our Individual Learning Centre in the evenings and at the weekend. Although there is one special price for the whole programme it is possible to combine it with one of our English Plus options or an examination course in a number of internationally recognised exams. Please note that there are breaks between terms when you may choose to travel or stay in your family accommodation at extra cost. Price includes:
