IELTS - the International English language Testing System

Churchill House is running 4 Week IELTS Examination Courses starting on:

4 February, 1 April, 27 May, 29 July, 30 September

The course consists of 15 hours of General English + 10 hours of IELTS preparation (including test paper practice).

The cost of the 4 week course is £930 (inclusive of enrolment fee, half board accommodation, Social Club membership and access to the Individual Learning Centre). Examination books cost an additional £15.

If you wish to sit the examination whilst in Ramsgate, the test fee is £75 (including the provision of a Test Report). Therefore the total cost of taking the course and examination is £1020.

Churchill House will help students to apply for the examination, which can be taken locally or in their home country.

IELTS

• is an academic English examination which evaluates a student's ability to read, write, speak and listen in English
• assesses whether a student is ready to study in English at undergraduate or postgraduate level
• is the standard proof of English Language ability for admission to British universities and colleges
• is also accepted by institutions in other countries where English is the language of instruction e.g. Australia, Canada and New Zealand
• results are available after two weeks
• Test Report Forms can be sent directly to relevant Admissions Officers
