Our Student Assistant Scheme is an excellent way to combine a language course at Churchill House with a work placement within the School. Not only do you learn in the classroom, but you learn as you work, you will be working with English people in an English working environment, socialising and living with English people. You will have the opportunity of using and developing your language skills every moment of the day. 95% of students who come to us under this scheme return home with excellent qualifications in English and with the language training and work experience they have received have no difficulty in entering university or starting in their chosen career.

You stay with one of our specially chosen host families near the School. Our families are all personally known to us and only those who meet our extremely high standards become Churchill House families.

Student Assistant Posts are available for either 6 or 12 months under one of the following options. You will usually have the opportunity to take one of the University of Cambridge examination courses and/or the London Chamber of Commerce & Industry examination course. Option A

You receive 15 hours a week organised daytime study consisting of morning classes. The value of this varies according to the exact course e.g. £120 per week for general English classes. You also receive half the family accommodation costs value £30.80 per week. You will have to fund the remaining £30.80 per week yourself. You work for the school 25 hours per week.
