In Ramsgate we offer our adult students a choice of homestay or self-catering accommodation

Homestay

Most students choose homestay.  Churchill House is the only language school in Ramsgate and is able to choose the very best host families for our students.  We have been providing homestay accommodation for over 40 years and understands the importance of a safe and friendly environment for our students.  Homestay gives students the opportunity to experience the English way of life at first hand and to practice everyday English outside the classroom.  All families providing homestay accommodation are carefully selected by our experienced accommodation managers and are revisited every year.  Our families do everything they can to welcome students to their friendly homes and make their stay happy and successful. All of our host families are within easy walking distance of the school.

Students can choose a shared or a single room; shared is normally with a student of a different nationality so they speak English together.  The host families provide bed, breakfast, evening meals and all meals at weekend - midday meals are provided in the centre.  The families also provide a weekly laundry service.

Self-catering

If you do not wish to stay with a family other possibilities include local guest houses, hotels and flats.
