Summer Activity Leader

Role

Working as an Activity Leader for Churchill House School of English is not a normal 9-5 experience.

At Churchill House, we take pride in the range and the quality of leisure opportunities we offer our students. As well as two excursions each week (at least), we also offer a comprehensive activity programme on-site at all of our summer centres.

Activity Leaders are expected to help plan and prepare all trips and activity sessions. Activity Leaders are also expected to run every aspect of this programme with enthusiasm, professionalism and confidence.

This is not a job for those who are not prepared to work hard. It is a busy but rewarding summer. Many members of staff gain friends for life and over 70% of our Activity Leaders return for another summer at Churchill House.

We have both residential and non-residential posts available throughout July and August and would recommend that you apply early as places are limited and interest is always high.

Skills

No qualifications are necessary to be an Activity Leader.

However, we do require candidates who are outgoing, sociable and prepared to work hard to help provide the thousands of students who come to study at Churchill House with a summer they'll never forget. The more unique you are the better chance you have of a successful application.

It would also be favourable (but not essential) for a candidate to have qualifications in any of the following fields:

• First Aid
• Life Guarding
• Football Coaching
• Golf Coaching
• Tennis Coaching
• Sailing
• Drama
• Dance
• Climbing
• High Ropes
