Student Welfare
The welfare of our homestay and residential students is our prime concern, from the moment they arrive in the UK until they return home.
To ensure that our students are safe, happy and cared for during their stay we have a ratio of 1 member of staff to every 10 students and provide supervision for our students around the clock. The centres have two first-aid trained staff available at all times. There is also a doctor’s surgery near each centre.
Contacting Students
Students on Family Stay Courses can be contacted at the home of their host family. Telephone messages can be left in the Summer School office for students on Residential Courses; they are then given assistance in using the telephone after lesson time to contact parents and relations in their home country. Email messages can be sent to students and Summer School staff will ensure the messages reach the students promptly (supervised internet access is available to all students).
