Summer Jobs:

Activity Leader

No formal qualifications are required for the position of activity leader, but previous experience of coaching or teaching students or being responsible for their general welfare is an advantage.  In particular we look for applicants with;

  • Previous summer school experience
  • Experience and qualifications in sports coaching and life guarding
  • The ability to lead an activity session in art, drama or music.
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Professional and friendly attitude

While we consider personal ability in sport, art, music and drama to be an important asset for an activity organiser, it is equally important that they have the ability to enthuse and empathise with the students.
