Examination Courses
Churchill House has specialised in examination courses for over 33 years and knows exactly what is required to ensure our students pass their exams.
This is why Churchill House has a first-class record of academic achievement. Our examination courses are 32 lessons per week.
Some can be taken as afternoon Electives if you are doing an Intensive Course with General English in the morning, e.g. the TOEFL, TOEIC and IELTS examinations.
Others, like the Cambridge Examination Courses: First Certificate, Advanced and Proficiency, may be run independently of other courses.
IELTS (INTERNATIONAL ENGLISH LANGUAGE TESTING SYSTEM)
is the required qualification for entry to British Universities and is also accepted by many institutions in Australia, Canada and New Zealand. Preparation courses are available throughout the year as part of our afternoon elective course system.
TOEFL (TEST OF ENGLISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE)
is the required test for entry to US Universities and is also widely accepted in Britain. Preparation courses are available throughout the year as part of our afternoon Elective Course system.
TOEIC (TEST OF ENGLISH FOR INTERNATIONAL COMMUNICATION)
is the most widely recognised test for people using English in the workplace and is accepted by Human Resources Directors worldwide. Preparation courses are available throughout the year as part of our afternoon Elective Course system.
Churchill House is an authorised centre for TOEIC.
