The Churchill Tavern

Ramsgate's most traditional pub, The Churchill Tavern, is owned by the School and is just across the square from our main building.

An "Olde Worlde" pub with old wooden beams and a log fire, you can relax here and enjoy a soft drink, a traditional British beer or a meal. The Churchill Tavern is open to local people and students alike - an ideal place to make friends of all nationalities in a warm and secure atmosphere.

The Clubroom

Downstairs from the pub is The Clubroom - exclusively for the use of our students and staff - with bar, restaurant and disco. Social Club membership is included in your course fees and this entitles you to entry to the Clubroom. Here you can relax and unwind with a coffee or a snack at break time in-between lessons, have lunch in our restaurant or enjoy a drink with your classmates, teachers and other staff members after school hours. Each evening we offer a wide variety of activities such as discos, cabaret evenings, karaoke, competitions, pool. table tennis, videos, 'Blind Date' nights, international parties etc.

We guarantee there will be something for you to do every evening while you are here, allowing you to continue your English practice outside the classroom and make new friends.
