Summer Activity Manager

Role

Churchill House Activity Managers are responsible for all aspects of the activity programme.

While the ability to lead activities is important, Churchill House Activity Managers spend most of their day organising the programme and supporting the Centre Manager in all aspects of summer school management.

The day-to-day tasks undertaken by Activity Managers vary in nature and difficulty but some of the essential roles assumed include being responsible for transport, staff, welfare and everything else embodied within the activity programme on-site.

This role is truly a hands-on management experience in which staff, contractors but most importantly students and agents must be more than satisfied with their experience at Churchill House.

Skills

Previous residential summer school experience as either an Activity Leader or Teacher is an essential requirement, whilst previous managerial experience is preferred but not necessary to become an Activity Manager at Churchill House.

We are mainly concerned with hiring confident, capable staff that can fit into our structured management scheme and deliver the Churchill House experience to all students. To be successful in your application we will need to see evidence of your work ethic, motivation and ideas on how you would improve the Churchill House activity programme.
