At Churchill House our
summer English courses are
designed to improve a student’s
level of fluency, to raise their
confidence levels and, of course, to
be interesting and fun. A student
can choose between 2, 3 and 4 week
courses (or longer) with starting
dates throughout the summer. ACTIVITIES
At Churchill House, we want students to learn a substantial amount of English as well as have a really enjoyable summer holiday. So we provide a wonderful variety of activities, sports and excursions to make students’ leisure time as interesting as possible. WELFAREThe welfare of our homestay and residential students is our prime concern, from the moment they arrive in the UK until they return home. To ensure that our students are safe, happy and cared for during their stay we have a ratio of 1 member of staff to every 10 students and provide supervision for our students around the clock. The centres have two first-aid trained staff available at all times. There is also a doctor’s surgery near each centre. TRANSFERSAND MOREIn addition to attending 20 English language lessons per week, students at Ampleforth College will have two lessons using Rosetta Stone, a state of the art interactive English language software programme which utilises voice recognition and corrects accents of all nationalities. Students can have additional time each week to use this programme, if they so wish. Additional trips to London can be arranged. Group Leaders will receive two free English lessons and a social evening with staff each week. LAUNDRY, POCKET MONEY, INSURANCE
