Ramsgate is a picturesque seaside town on the south east coast of England in Kent, ‘the Garden of England’.

It is less than two hours away from London and close to France and historic Kentish towns such as Canterbury and Sandwich. Near to some of the UK’s most beautiful countryside, Ramsgate has a long sandy beach, attractive marina and historic harbour. With a population of only 42,000, Ramsgate is a safe and peaceful place to study away from the noise and pollution of the big city. As one of the sunniest places in Britain it is the ideal place to enjoy a Summer Vacation course.

Churchill House School is in a 19th century square overlooking the sea within easy walking distance of the town centre.

Students benefit from the expertise of our full time teaching staff and the high quality of their teaching. We put as much skill into designing our Summer Vacation Courses as we do our academic course. Our Social Club is famous for the interesting variety of activities it organises for our year round students and this same professionalism is used to run an exciting range of summer programmes for all three age groups.

Intensive Courses

Most Summer Courses have 20 lessons (15 hours) per week. You can also book courses with 26 lessons (20 hours) or 32 lessons (25 hours) depending on your start date. These courses can be General English only or General English plus a choice of Electives including exams (TOEFL, TOEIC), cultural subjects (arts, drama), business and skills development.

Homestay

Many of the Ramsgate families who look after our all year round students also welcome those on Summer Vacation courses. Their understanding and experience of how to make your stay enjoyable play an important part in ensuring you have a wonderful summer holiday. This is particularly true with our young students for whom a good family home is so important.
