Living as part of a family is by far the best way to make the most of your stay in England - you will gain an insight into the English way of life, eat English food (it’s good - honestly!) and practice your English outside the classroom. There is also the added advantage of having your meals cooked for you and your laundry done-just like home!

In Ramsgate we have over 300 families. All personally inspected and classified. Our families will try their best to help your English improve and do everything possible to make your stay happy and successful. Ramsgate is not a large town so most of our families are within easy walking distance of the School.

Gill Edmonds, our Accommodation Manager, is very experienced in matching students with the right family and we usually get it right first time. However, if for any reason you are unhappy, Gill will help you find another family which suits you better. We can also arrange a flat or bed-sit for you if you prefer, or even a hotel if your stay is a short one.

During the summer, we also offer residential campus accommodation at different summer centres throughout the UK. You can choose among:

• Bedford School (in Bedford),
• Royal Russell School (in London),
• Ardingly College (in Ardingly) and
• St. Bees School (in the Lake District).
