At Churchill House we will:
At Churchill House you are always treated as an individual. The teaching department is always willing to help and advise you and we all do our best to make sure you get the most from your course and realise your full potential. For long-term students this means regular monthly assessment sessions with your Course Director who, in consultation with you, will set your personal study goals and advise you on how best to use your time in the Individual Learning Centre. All our teachers are experienced and qualified and all use the latest methods and materials including games, DVD, role plays etc. while still concentrating on giving you a thorough grounding in the 4 skills of Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking - you will never be bored in a Churchill House classroom! “I began my studies with a General English course because I use English at work every day but the Director of Studies said my level was high enough for the Cambridge First Certificate Examination so I decided to try it and although it is hard work, I think it will be very useful for me in my career to have a Cambridge Certificate!” “When I first arrived I was very worried about my speaking so John arranged for me to have a private teacher for 1-to-1 lessons in the afternoon. It was not expensive and my teacher was wonderful-she really helped me a lot. All the teachers here are so nice- you can really make friends with them because they often come to the Social Club activities in the evenings (particularly the disco!) and on the trips at weekends.” Next: Which course? |
