Travelling Here

Ramsgate is located in the south east corner of England and there are several transport options you could choose to get to/from the school.

We strongly recommend using our transfer service, particularly when arriving in the UK for the first time. We offer a comprehensive ‘meet and greet’ service which takes the stress out of the journey!

Arriving by Air

Most of our students fly into London Gatwick or London Heathrow airport, which are just two hours away from Ramsgate by car. London City, Luton, Stansted and Southend airports are also good options.

The easiest way to get from the airport to the school is to book take our Transfer Service. It’s much cheaper and safer than taking a taxi from the airport.

Arriving by Train

Ramsgate is on the High Speed train line from London and is just 76 minutes journey from St Pancras International or as little as an hour from Ebbsfleet International.

Ramsgate train station is a 20 minute walk from the school but only 5 minutes by taxi.

Arriving by Ferry/Eurotunnel

There are regular ferry services into Dover from Calais and Dunkerque. Dover is just 35 minutes from Ramsgate by car. If you prefer to use the Eurotunnel, the Folkestone terminal is just a little bit further.

Arriving by Coach

National Express coach services from London Victoria coach station depart regularly for Ramsgate and stop at the Royal Harbour, just five minutes’ walk from our school.

Additional Notes

If your flight is significantly delayed on arrival (i.e. more than one hour) please call our the transfer emergency number to let us know as soon as possible so that we can reschedule the time our taxi service will leave for the airport. If the taxi has to wait for you, you may be charged for additional waiting time or for a replacement taxi.

If not using our transfer service, students under 18 years of age must be accompanied to the school by a responsible adult, either a parent, close family member or a Group Leader.
